March 24 some crap cos i ate too much and feeling awful right now..according to collins english dictionary, "temptation" is the feeling that u want to do something or to have something even though u know u really should avoid it.
and i was tempted, by a piece of pizza, a large piece of course. it just looked so nice with the ham and cheese toppings and i ate it...
so here came the punishment..
i am feeling awful now..
yes yes i cant bend..hehe..
think will stand sleeping tonight...
going to gym tomorrow..
March 22 be a hard-working Chinesethis is the motto that i set for myself two weeks ago.
i wrote down those words in capital letters with bloody red marker and hung the paper in front of my desk, as a reminder, as well as a source of motivation for the slacking myself.
people see it and always come out with this question: why Chinese?
well, i am chinese, practically. and chinese are well known to be hard-working, i suppose. it is just stereotype. romantic french, short japanese, crazy australians, mechanical german, stinking indians, ugly vietnamese, sassy korean, stubborn english, chaotic americans...
so when it comes to chinese, i guess, for the childish singaporeans, since they are also chinese after all, it would be something like: outdated chinese, dont-know-fashion chinese, cant-speak-english chinese, engeering chinese, maths-and-science-pro chinese, cap 5 chinese, chinese-society chinese, no-life chinese...
as for the blond-hair-and-blue-eyes westerners, it is something different, something like: farmer chinese, small-and-long-eyes chinese, spoon-face chinese, conservative chinese, nerver-say-no chinese, hard-working chinese....and of course, rice-eating chinese.
