i went to watch "the 8th Asian Junior & Cadet Karatedo Championship" last sunday.

this guy in the photo is a player from japan. he was the champion last year for the category of 80kg.but he only got second for this year. however he was really really cool when fighting on the tatami mat although he might look a bit "dai" in the photo. i went to watch the match from 830am to 430pm to just see this guy.hahaha.... all my karate seniors scolded me for that but all of them admit the fact that this jap guy is the strongest of all!!!

it is same here for me, although NUS is not that ulu, mainly due to the fact that spore is too small. i am getting lost in sch everyday and till now i have not been NOT late for a single lecture... haha..for once i have been late for this math lec for half an hour(it is a one-hour session) and when i got into the LT, i just could not see any empty seats at the side. so, i sat on the floor at the back of the LT and joined a group of indians and talked craps till the end....

 

regarding this karate cool guy(dunno his name yet although i've talked to him),hehehe...action is going to be taken.. fangxin ha..がんばります。

 

 

i had my first karate session last evening and it was really really cool!

and there is this mysterious guy with british slang in the team.... he is just so cool.

i have talked to him, knowing that he is from philosophy major....and he had lived in japan and hongkong! he speaks fluent japanese!!

my dear zhaozhao and chi, u've got to see this guy!

looking forward to next karate practise.

finally it is friday!!!

i have survived my first week in univ.... successfully.

yes i have gotten my most-wanted module--jap, finally.

and now i am going to join karate!!!next time u will see me breaking the stack of tiles,hahahhahahaha

i got up at 7am this morning. it was nearly a miracle to me to get up so early,but i made it, hahaha...

the first day of school was not fun at all. i nearly fell asleep during the first lecture. the lecturer is a china man. his spoken english is really really really sucky. almost everyone in the lecture theatre had difficulty understanding his words. however, i appreciated his courage to speak out in front of so many english-speaking students, with confidence(perhaps he found nothing funny in his "slang"??)

 

i am still keeping apealing to take japanese language as one of my modules, although i have failed 3 times since. one of my prof commented in his speech during the so-called "welcome tea for freshmen" about my phenomenum. he said with amazement and surprise,"this year there is one student who desperately wanted to take japanese in this sem. i dont understand why...." although he didnt mention my name, i am sure everyone knew me would tell it was me.

how can he understand?? even i myself dont.
